Winter programme:
meet the reindeer and huskies

An immersion in northern traditions just an hour's drive from the city. A packed winter programme: from cuddling huskies to mystical fireside rituals and a shot of adrenaline on the snowy trails. Discover the Arctic with the @aurora_trip team!

The programme runs in two formats: a morning slot starting at 11:00 and an afternoon slot starting at 13:00. The timings below are for the morning group.

This is a comfortable winter tour just an hour's drive from Murmansk: outdoor activities alternate with time to relax in a warm chum, where a real hearth is burning.

The route is easy and requires no special physical preparation. The programme is perfectly balanced: you will not get too cold, because the middle of the tour takes place in a hot, heated chum.

You will spend about 45 minutes out in the cold at the start and about 45 minutes at the end of the programme, so it is important to dress as warmly as possible.

About the campfire smell: an open fire burns inside the chum, so your clothes may pick up a light scent of smoke — it is an inseparable part of the nomadic charm.

Amazing trip! We went with Misha, and it was all cosy and informative. Really lovely company and just as lovely a tour. None of the usual "look left, look right". A great, friendly atmosphere — I recommend it to everyone, photo attached)

We went to Kirovsk with the Aurora Trip team in September. We loved everything. Fascinating stories. We learned so much. And of course the mountains! They are magnificent! The weather was superb. Amazing that we got such good weather in September — I thought it would be snowy. Next time we will go to Teriberka with the same team. But that will be in winter!

We went out with the guys to look for the northern lights last year, and I loved the friendly atmosphere of the trip — it felt like we had gathered as friends for a photo hunt. Alexandra shared all sorts of interesting scientific facts and legends, we chatted a lot, laughed and had a great time, and on top of it all we managed to catch the long-awaited aurora! The whole sky glowed) The guys also knew which spots are least likely to be cloudy, so our chances were high! I am attaching a photo, but in person it is far more captivating, because the whole glow shimmers in a bright dance — thank you, I definitely recommend it.
