A one-day journey across Teriberka
at the edge of the earth

This journey is made for those who want to feel the spirit of the real Arctic and see wild nature just as it is — all the best of Teriberka in one action-packed day.

We will walk across the endless tundra, see the "Dragon Eggs" stone beach, the graveyard of Pomor ships, the Batareysky waterfall plunging straight into the Arctic Ocean, and the sandy shores where nature speaks its own ancient language.

This is the land-based version of our expedition — without going out to sea. The programme on land stays just as rich, while the price is noticeably lower. Perfect for those who want to see all of Teriberka but are not planning a sea trip.

The fresh Arctic wind, rugged cliffs and the boundless ocean at your feet — the North is calling.

Tour programme

MEETING THE GUIDE AND 120 KM OF ENDLESS TUNDRA
THE ROAD
07:20
Meeting the group and getting to know the guide
We meet at the entrance to your hotel/apartment.
07:30
We set off for Teriberka from Murmansk.
We will drive about 120 km through scenic tundra, making a few stops at the most picturesque spots along the way to take in the stunning landscapes of the endless Arctic tundra:
  • the Kola Wind Farm;
  • the seids on Mount Eriveyv.
The drive takes 2–2.5 hours.
09:30
Arrival in Teriberka
ALL THE BEAUTY OF TERIBERKA
THE POWER
09:40
We set out for a walk through the protected "Teriberka" nature park along the rocky coast. Two spectacular locations await us:
the "Dragon Eggs" stone beach and the roaring Batareysky waterfall, falling from a lake straight into the Arctic Ocean.
  • Distance: 7 km round trip across scenic tundra.
  • Comfort: The route is fitted with convenient modern eco-trails. The boardwalks protect you from mud in summer and ice in winter, so the walk is comfortable for guests of any fitness level.
12:30
We take a gastronomic break at a panoramic restaurant on the ocean shore: we try dishes made from fresh fish and local seafood, cooked right after the morning catch.
13:45
We stroll along the famous sandy coast of Teriberka Bay. We take atmospheric shots on the giant swing by the ocean, try on the role of the ruler of the North on the wooden throne, and explore an old fishing ship washed ashore by a storm.
  • Optional: Right by the beach you can stop by a husky farm to meet and take photos with the friendly polar dogs.
15:00
We visit the famous graveyard of Pomor fishing ships from the 1950s — trawlers and fishing vessels frozen in time. It is a fantastic location for deep, atmospheric shots.
16:00
We wrap up the programme and head back to Murmansk.
18:00
Return to your hotel.

Good to know

Your passport, health insurance, cash, a thermal mug or personal thermos (optional, for your own comfort), a power bank, personal hygiene items, a small first-aid kit, a backpack for your belongings, a foam sit pad for resting outdoors and a raincoat.

Bring windproof clothing: trekking (hiking) trousers and a jacket. Also bring comfortable footwear, preferably waterproof. Plain sneakers are not the best choice. Do not wear shorts or jeans either. You can bring a raincoat in case of rain or strong wind. We also recommend synthetic clothing, as it dries faster than items made from natural materials.

Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Kaliningrad, Arkhangelsk, Kazan, Cherepovets and Minsk (Belarus).

This is the land-based version of our Teriberka tour: the programme on land is exactly the same — the ship graveyard, the "Dragon Eggs" beach, the Batareysky waterfall, the sandy coast and all the photo spots — but without going out to sea by boat. That makes the tour cheaper (6 000 ₽ instead of 10 000 ₽) and a great fit for those who are not planning a sea trip. If you would also like to look for whales, choose the "Teriberka Whale Watching" tour.

The tour has an easy/medium difficulty level and is suitable for people of any basic fitness, including children from age 6 and older travellers. There are no long treks over rough terrain, but the programme does include walks across the tundra and the rocky coast (about 7 km over the day).

To book, simply send a request through the form on the site, message us on Telegram or give us a call. We will get in touch, help you choose dates, discuss the details and reserve your spots in the group after a small deposit.

Amazing trip! We went with Misha, and it was all cosy and informative. Really lovely company and just as lovely a tour. None of the usual "look left, look right". A great, friendly atmosphere — I recommend it to everyone, photo attached)

We went to Kirovsk with the Aurora Trip team in September. We loved everything. Fascinating stories. We learned so much. And of course the mountains! They are magnificent! The weather was superb. Amazing that we got such good weather in September — I thought it would be snowy. Next time we will go to Teriberka with the same team. But that will be in winter!

We went out with the guys to look for the northern lights last year, and I loved the friendly atmosphere of the trip — it felt like we had gathered as friends for a photo hunt. Alexandra shared all sorts of interesting scientific facts and legends, we chatted a lot, laughed and had a great time, and on top of it all we managed to catch the long-awaited aurora! The whole sky glowed) The guys also knew which spots are least likely to be cloudy, so our chances were high! I am attaching a photo, but in person it is far more captivating, because the whole glow shimmers in a bright dance — thank you, I definitely recommend it.
