Three Days in the North:
Murmansk, Teriberka and Waterfalls
"Weekend in Murmansk" is a ready-made 3-day itinerary that brings our most popular excursions together into one action-packed journey. The perfect choice for anyone who wants to get to know the Arctic and see its main sights in a short time.
Day one — a city sightseeing tour of Murmansk. Five Corners Square, the Alyosha monument (closed for restoration until 2028), the nuclear-powered icebreaker Lenin, the Waiting Woman monument and panoramic views over the Kola Bay.
Day two — a trip to Teriberka. A voyage out into the Barents Sea in search of whales, a sandy beach, the swing, the throne, the ship graveyard, the "Dragon Eggs" and the Batareysky waterfall.
Day three — the scenic waterfalls of Western Murman on the road to Norway. Sites of military glory from the Second World War and the stark beauty of northern nature.
A certified local guide accompanies you throughout the entire route. All transfers are in comfortable crossovers and minivans.

Good to know
The price of 20 000 ₽ includes transfers for all three days, a local guide throughout, a whale-watching boat trip on the second day, permits for the Teriberka Nature Park and every location on the programme. Paid separately: air and rail tickets to Murmansk, hotel accommodation, lunches and personal expenses.
Accommodation is not included in the tour price, but we will gladly help you find and book a hotel in a convenient part of Murmansk to suit your budget — just tell us what you are looking for.
Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Sochi, Kaliningrad, Arkhangelsk, Kazan, Cherepovets and Minsk (Belarus).
On the second day we head out into the Barents Sea on a well-equipped boat with an experienced captain who knows the migration routes of marine mammals. In season, the chances of meeting whales, dolphins or seals are very high, but nature is unpredictable and no one can give a 100% guarantee. Even without whales, the stunning views of Teriberka are worth it.
Yes, the programme is flexible. The standard order is a city sightseeing tour of Murmansk, Teriberka with whales, then the waterfalls — but we can rearrange the days to fit your arrival dates and the weather. If you like, one of the excursions can be swapped for another of our programmes (for example, "Visiting the Reindeer and Huskies").
Send a request through the form on the site, message us on Telegram or give us a call. We will get in touch, help you choose dates and a hotel, discuss the details and secure your places after a small deposit.
Reviews of this adventure:
Amazing trip! We went with Misha, and it was all cosy and informative. Really lovely company and just as lovely a tour. None of the usual "look left, look right". A great, friendly atmosphere — I recommend it to everyone, photo attached)
We went to Kirovsk with the Aurora Trip team in September. We loved everything. Fascinating stories. We learned so much. And of course the mountains! They are magnificent! The weather was superb. Amazing that we got such good weather in September — I thought it would be snowy. Next time we will go to Teriberka with the same team. But that will be in winter!
We went out with the guys to look for the northern lights last year, and I loved the friendly atmosphere of the trip — it felt like we had gathered as friends for a photo hunt. Alexandra shared all sorts of interesting scientific facts and legends, we chatted a lot, laughed and had a great time, and on top of it all we managed to catch the long-awaited aurora! The whole sky glowed) The guys also knew which spots are least likely to be cloudy, so our chances were high! I am attaching a photo, but in person it is far more captivating, because the whole glow shimmers in a bright dance — thank you, I definitely recommend it.
I went with friends last year. I have only just got around to writing a review. My huge thanks to the whole team of guides. It was wonderful! We visited Teriberka and it was the most memorable trip of my life! We also went to catch the lights. Our guide was Yan. We caught a wonderful aurora and a special thank-you for the photos)))
